It is a tough fight I have with Green Smoothies, as some of you know already. I know how healthy they are and still, I need to experiment a lot in order to find them tasty. I have two favorite ones now the Green Smoothie and my Spinach Smoothie, which I am sharing with you today. Thanks to the cashew nuts you still have a mild sweet taste and the spinach give an amazing color. Additionally, the cashew nuts have a high proportion of vegetable protein and especially Tryptophan, which not only brightens up your mood because it raises our serotonin levels but also reduces weight. So only good reasons to check out this recipe 🙂
- 40 g Cashew nuts soaked in Water for 1 hours
- 200 ml Water
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbs Maple Syrup
- a handful Spinach
- 1 tsp Vanilla powder
- 2 pieces ice cube
- pinch of salt
Soak the cashew nuts in water for about 1 hour
Place all ingredients in a blender until well combined.
Pour, serve and enjoy!
