My favorite recipe for a yummy green smoothie. As it has mainly fruits in it, it is a great smoothie for beginners.
Preparation time: 15 mins Servings: 1 Glass
3 pills of chlorophyll (you can get it in a pharmacy)
Juice of ½ a lemon
2 tbsp Almonds
A pinch of salt
100 ml Almond milk
- Dissolve the chlorophyll pills in a small bowl of water (50 ml) for 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
- Put all ingredients in the mixer, including the chlorophyll water.
- Mix it for about 1 minute. Enjoy!
Chlorophyll is the molecule that gives plants their green pigment and traps sunlight for photosynthesis. Like green vegetables, it’s a good source of vitamins A, C, E, and K.
