Plant Powered Smoothie

My favorite recipe for a yummy green smoothie. As it has mainly fruits in it, it is a great smoothie for beginners.

Preparation time: 15 mins Servings: 1 Glass

½ Mango
3 pills of chlorophyll (you can get it in a pharmacy)
2 Dates
Juice of ½ a lemon
¼ pineapple
2 tbsp Almonds
A pinch of salt
Vanilla pod
100 ml Almond milk

  1. Dissolve the chlorophyll pills in a small bowl of water (50 ml) for 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Put all ingredients in the mixer, including the chlorophyll water.
  3. Mix it for about 1 minute. Enjoy!

Nutritional Facts

Chlorophyll is the molecule that gives plants their green pigment and traps sunlight for photosynthesis. Like green vegetables, it’s a good source of vitamins A, C, E, and K.

I really enjoy green smoothies that don’t taste too “green”. Looking forward to more smoothie recipies 🙂

Thank you so much. Currently, I am testing a bit to get some other recipes for smoothies. For me, it is also always important that it tastes yummy and not too “healthy”. So stayed tuned!
