Green greener Smoothie

Ok, to be honest, I am actually not really in love with green smoothies. It is somehow a hate love. I know they are super healthy and do only good things for your body. But I never get used to that taste. The feeling of drinking your salad instead of eating it – is probably not my favorite part. This is the reason why I am experimenting quite a lot to combine green superfood with some tasty ingredients to get an enjoyable smoothie.

The parsley smoothie has some real superpower for you. Parsley itself is a perfect iron source, combined with some orange juice (vitamin C) it helps your body to absorb it well (you can read more about it in my green superfood blog post). Plus the banana which adds a yummy taste to it.

Parsley smoothie

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 2 minutes
Total Time 7 minutes
Servings 1 Glass

Ingredients

  • 1 banana peeled, frozen
  • 3 chlorophyl tablets or 1 tsp spirulina
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 10 g parsley
  • 150 ml water

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender until well combined. Pour, serve and enjoy!
